Monday, December 5, 2016

This presentation was given by Haden Springer, who serves as senior program manager for the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness, and for two national associations the organization manages, the Council for Community and Economic Research and the Labor Market Information Institute. She gave the presentation at the Forum on New Jersey's Education, Higher Education, and Workforce P20W Longitudinal Data System on December 1-2, 2016 in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The forum convened a wide range of national and state experts and policymakers as well as New Jersey K-12 educators, postsecondary educators, workforce development and labor representatives, civic and nonprofit organizations, legislators, business leaders, members of the philanthropic community, and researchers to mark the public launch of New Jersey’s P20W State Longitudinal Data System. Attendees heard presentations and shared their perspectives on how educators, policymakers, and qualified researchers can use state administrative longitudinal data to enhance state policy-making and program evaluation.
