Steady as She Goes? Three Generations of Students through the Science and Engineering Pipeline

In 2009, the Heldrich Center conducted research and produced a report that offered a comprehensive analysis of a major longitudinal dataset to examine the transition of American students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from high school into the labor force. The report generated significant coverage of the STEM issue in nationwide media outlets such as BusinessWeek, Science Magazine, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and Education Week.
