Van Horn Speaks At Economic Policy Institute Event on Renewing Unemployment Insurance

Heldrich Center Director Dr. Carl Van Horn presented at an Economic Policy Institute (EPI) event entitled, “Making the Case to Renew Unemployment Insurance.” The forum addressed the impact of unemployment insurance on job creation, the motivation of the unemployed to seek work, and the economic consequences of funding unemployment insurance. Dr. Van Horn presented results of Heldrich Center research on unemployed workers, including their experiences with unemployment insurance.
