Carl Van Horn, director of the Heldrich Center, recently participated in a roundtable titled "Chasing the American Dream: Recent Labor Development and its Effects on Economic Security" at the International Symposium on Labor Security and Social Welfare The symposium was hosted by the School of Social Work, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, and the Huamin Research Center at Rutgers University, and the School of Labor and Human Resources at Renmin University. The symposium was sponsored by Rutgers' China Office.

Maria Heidkamp, senior project manager at the Heldrich Center, was interviewed as part of a Fox Business story on older workers and their experiences in the job market.

Hal Salzman, senior faculty fellow at the Heldrich Center, will be part of a panel at the U.S. News STEM Solutions national leadership conference.
