The Heldrich Center is working with the Meadowlands Region to perform research and analysis that supports the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission and the Meadowlands Regional Chamber in their efforts to develop economic growth strategies for the region. The Heldrich Center is identifying an economic profile for the region and providing research on trends affecting key industry sectors. The economic profile updates work done in a previous project for the Meadowlands Chamber. The Heldrich Center is also analyzing existing employment and training data, conducting interviews and focus groups with employers, and reviewing existing research on economic growth strategies used in other states to understand developing trends and promising strategies in industry sectors of interest to the Meadowlands region. The project will result in a PowerPoint deck that presents relevant data to employers and other audiences.
