The Voice of Business on the Mature Workforce: A Summary Report of the Pre-White House Conference on Aging Event

In early 2005, the Heldrich Center launched a successful partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its Center for Workforce Preparation (CWP). The Center’s nationally recognized research abilities, and its hands-on approach to employment problems, supported the Chamber’s own efforts to address its members’ workplace challenges at a conference in June 2005 titled The Voice of Business on the Mature Workforce. The Center provided conference members with advance findings of a nationwide survey on retirement options as well as wrote the conference’s proceedings and final recommendations presented at the 2005 White House Conference on Aging.
