New Work Trends Survey, “Healthy at Work?” Reveals the Importance of Employer-Based Wellness Programs for Workers
The most recent edition of the Heldrich Center’s Work Trends series, “Healthy at Work? Unequal Access to Employer Wellness Programs,” finds that workers in the United States are increasingly looking to their employers for wellness programs that discuss health-related topics such as diet, exercise, stress reduction, and ways to prevent serious diseases like diabetes and cancer. The report underlines not only the advantages of such programs to workers, but also the financial and productivity benefits they can bring employers.
