 On May 2, 2008, Career Connections hosted a forum for New Jersey educators, including a number of individuals who participated via videoconference. Presentations included “Hot Jobs in Life Sciences,” featuring representatives from Ethicon, Rider University, and Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC, and “Creating a 21st Century Classroom,” featuring individuals from the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey Business and Industry Association, and the New Jersey Department of Education. The forum was capped with an awards presentation honoring the recipient of the 2008 Career Connections 21st Century Teaching and Counseling Excellence Award.
